Director of Technology

Mike brings over 25 years of technology experience to ClaimForce; he joined us as our Director of Technology in 2010.

Mike is responsible for the company’s technology thought leadership, strategy, selection and implementation of products and services. He is also responsible for infrastructure, applications and technology-related security and governance.

After graduating from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Mike joined the Sears & Roebuck/IBM task force to introduce and market the IBM PC through Sears stand-alone retail computer stores – Sears Business Systems Center. He was promoted to a technical advisor and buyer for personal computer products for Sears World Trade, the import/export company of Sears & Roebuck and was based out of the Sears Tower in Chicago.

Mike then founded and led an entrepreneurial technology start up that attracted some of the country’s largest multinational corporations as clients.  SinoTech, Ltd. was an IT consulting corporation that specialized in networks, imaging and maintenance; the company earned and maintained a reputation for responsiveness, innovation and cost effectiveness over 12 years of impressive growth, before being acquired by a larger company.

Prior to joining ClaimForce Mike was a Senior Manager at Allstate Insurance Company for 13 years, where he held multiple technical leadership positions during. He led IT projects and programs in both the Property & Casualty and Financial companies. Mike supported producers and agencies delivering new business capabilities, integrating legacy systems across multiple platforms and technologies, and ensuring that the necessary functionality was securely available via the Internet.
